  Driving past my young child needed to go to the bathroom. Thought I was fortunate to have somewhere so we didn't need to use the bushes. The sign out front said no public washrooms, but I hoped they would make an exception for a small child. Nope. 2 km through construction traffic to the next rest stop wasn't an option. Good thing their bushes were accommodating.

  I recommend trying their smore dessert if you ever get the chance. I don't even like Smores, but holy man it's delicious!

  Very laid back place to go, waitress is always super friendly and remembers names and drink orders.

  The lodge is a small lovely and rustic little place. The rooms are small, yet comfortable and the beds are soft. The staff really makes it, they are all lovely people and very helpful. The bar is open as long as you want to drink and they have a billiards table! Don't forget the free coffee, tea, and breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

  If you're looking for a high end place to go out, I wouldn't say it is here. I find the food inexpensive and really good!!!

  Better than expected. Clean and comfortable place to rest while visiting Yoho. Bed was comfortable. Walls a bit thin, so light sleepers will want earplugs. Very basic continental breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful.

  Have stayed here a couple of times now. It's the only place to stay in quite a long stretch of road really so we visited more as a necessity! The first time was heading towards Lake Louise (always exorbitantly expensive!) and we stayed in one of the bunk rooms out the back. Luckily we got it to ourselves as no-one else arrived. Most recently we spent a couple of nights here as we were visiting (the incredible) Lake O'Hara. The price was higher than I remembered, and we were put in a small room that was vibrating with the noise of the generator outside. We asked the girl at the reception if there was a chance we could move and she was helpful in getting us an upgrade to a quieter, larger, lakeview room without the generator hum, which was fantastic. The restaurant downstairs serves interesting options... our server was really friendly though, so overall a good stay at The Great Divide.
