  I got caught in a thunderstorm and tried calling for 2.5 - 3 hours telling them that I'll be late. I had two friends try to call and email them too. That said check-in can't be later than 10pm but no one answered me to let me know if I could arrive later (I estimated 11pm at the time of my calls ). By the time I got a response, I would've arrived at 1am because I had to stop and look for other options for the night and that was too late for them.

  Fireweed Hostel is a five-star hostel experience. The kitchen/common area is huge and clean. There is a BBQ on a beautiful deck with seats and tables. I have taken groups, private clients, and stayed there on my own. They have a suite downstairs with two bedrooms. The view from upstairs is amazing, each room has a mountain view in a different direction. The location is amazing. The Siding Cafe has great food. The pottery shop across the road is so cute! We will keep coming back to Field and staying with Fireweed for years to come. I strongly recommend staying here!

  I received a call to take this review down because of inaccuracies but it's true that I did not get a response for hours as I tried to update them on road conditions and I had to be late. They stress that i have to be there on time.

  Small business so Show up before 9 pm if you wanna stay. They don't have a number to forward if you can't reach them. I ended up staying elsewhere.

  The one star is for demanding me to take down my review. I've changed it several times after talking with them but demanding the removal of a negative review and then threatening to charge my credit card is very bad service. This is a reflection of my experience and it should be as valid as any other review.

  I found this hotel after a lot of search. I stayed in the private suite since we were four adults and I enjoyed the stay. It became expensive for most part but sightseeing places were nearby.

  So much fun! Find a reason to go during low season and you may have the place to yourself. We'll kept with a great kitchen and lounge area.
